1 cup butter
1/3 cup sweetened cocoa powder
3 cups sugar, divided
5 large eggs, divided
1 ounce bottle red food coloring
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk melted butter & cocoa powder together until smooth. In a large bowl, beat half of the sugar & half of the eggs until fluffy. At a low speed mix in food coloring, vinegar, vanilla, and gradually mix in flour. Spoon batter into a prepared pan.
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese & remaining sugar and eggs and a medium speed until smooth. Drop heaping tablespoons of mixture onto top of brownie batter in the pan and gently swirl with a knife. Baker for 30 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
