GLUTEN-FREE SPICE CAKE
Makes: 9X13 Cake
2 1/4 Cups Gluten Free Flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
3 Teaspoons Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Ginger
3/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Oil
1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a 9X13 cake pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
CARAMEL FROSTING
Makes 4 Cups
1 Cup Butter
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
4 Cups Powdered Sugar
In a pan melt butter then add brown sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes. Add milk and bring back to a boil. Cool to lukewarm temperature and add powdered sugar. Beat until thick.
