Ingredients:
5 1/4 c. All Purpose Flour
1 pckg. (scant Tbsp) Active Dry Yeast
1 1/4 c. Milk
1/2 c. Butter or Shortening
1/3 c. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp. Finely Shredded Orange Peel (zest)
1/4 c. Orange Juice
Directions:
In a large bowl, stir together 2 cups flour & yeast. In medium saucepan, heat & stir milk, butter, sugar, & salt, until mixture is warm and butter is almost melted.
Add milk mixture to flour mixture. Add eggs. Beat with mixer on low to medium speed for 30 sec., scraping side of bowl constantly. Beat on high for 3 min.
Stir in Orange Peel & Orange Juice. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured surface. Knead until dough is smooth & elastic. Shape into a ball. Place into a lightly greased bowl; turn once. Cover & let rise in a warm place until double. Punch dough down. Turn onto lightly floured surface. Divide in half. Cover & let rest for 10 min. Roll each half into 7 X 12" rectangle. Cut into 12 7" long strips. Tie each strip into a loose knot.
Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Arrange knots 2" apart on baking sheets. Cover & let rise until nearly double. Bake @ 400º for 12 min.
Remove from baking sheet. Cool on wire rack. Drizzle with orange glaze.
Orange Glaze:

1 tsp. Finely Shredded Orange Peel (zest)
1 Tbsp. Orange Juice
Directions:
In small bowl, stir powdered sugar & orange peel together.
Add enough orange juice to make a glaze of drizzling consistency.
